The Denver Broncos' 53-man roster has been finalized, and Mile High Report crunches some roster numbers as fans look forward to the regular season.
The Denver Broncos' 53-man roster has been set, and fans can stop wondering who will make the roster, and start looking ahead to the Week 1 rematch against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as Peyton Manning makes his Broncos' debut.
Still, it's good to know who each player on the 53-man roster is, and the good folks over at Mile High Report have listed the roster -- and added a little bit of analysis, too.
The average age of this year's team is 26.1 years, with an average experience of 4.3 years. The first test in this draft is passed, with all seven draftees making the club. Two College Free Agents made the team also -- long snapper Aaron Brewer and linebacker Steven Johnson. At least one of them has a chance to stay on the roster for the entire year, making them the 14th and 15th CFAs since 1997 to make Denver's active roster out of training camp.
It'll certainly be interesting to see how this young Broncos team meshes with veteran players such as Manning. It is unquestionably a good sign that the Broncos retained all seven draft picks, as it shows the team drafted well.
