The Denver Broncos avoided major injuries their week two matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Denver Broncos avoided major injuries in their loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night. No Broncos were knocked out the game, and that is good news that should lessen the sting of the failed comeback attempt.
One player did miss some action, and that was linebacker Joe Mays. The problem was nothing serious, as Mays was suffering from cramping in the second half, according to the Canon City Daily Record. He was able to return to the game later.
The Broncos will look to bounce back when they face the Houston Texans in an important early-season AFC showdown on Sunday. The Texans are 2-0 after a pair of 20-point victories over Miami and Jacksonville. The two teams meet at 2:25 MT in Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium.
