NFL Picks Week 2: SI.com's Peter King Selects Broncos Over Falcons

While the world of football experts has been split regarding the winner of Monday's night game in the Georgia Dome, they generally have been leaning towards the Atlanta Falcons to beat the Broncos in Week 2. However, Sports Illustrated's Peter King is one in the minority that selected the Broncos to win the matchup in his picks for the second week of the NFL season:

"...If these teams had played Week 1, I might have picked a different outcome. But with one of the league's best corners, Brent Grimes, lost to Atlanta for the season with an Achilles injury, I can't see Denver being held down."

King predicts a final score of 33-24 in favor of the Broncos. The Falcons won their first game of the season, dominating the Chiefs 40-24, while the Broncos convincingly beat the Steelers, 31-19.
