Ty Warren Injury: Broncos DT Tears Triceps Again, Future Uncertain

In his first NFL game since 2009, star-crossed Denver Broncos defensive tackle Ty Warren re-tore the same triceps muscle he tore last year according to the team's Gray Caldwell.

Warren, who was taken to the locker room in the first half of Denver's Sunday Night Football victory over Pittsburgh on Sunday, has been forced to deal with a bevy of injuries since entering the league in 2003 as a first-round pick. By re-injuring the exact same injury that kept him out all last season, the 31-year-old Warren is clearly headed for a lengthy recovery time, a notion that head coach John Fox confirmed on Monday:

The 6'5, 300-pound tackle's massive frame is simply not able to make it through both an NFL training camp and regular season at this point. While it's unfortunate that the former run-stopping beast is again unable to suit up for a full NFL campaign, it may be time for Warren to step back and re-evaluate his career.
