The Denver Broncos have ruled out three players for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, none of who are surprising. Linebacker Keith Brooking, defensive end Jason Hunter and right guard Chris Kuper will not play.
Brooking is dealing with a hamstring injury and is expected to miss the rest of the preseason. Hunter tore his triceps muscle earlier in August and is out for at least three months, possibly the season. Kuper, recovering from a broken leg and dislocated ankle, is out through the first few games of the season with a broken forearm.
Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post also reports that linebacker Mike Mohamed will not play, as he is not in uniform.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. MT and can be seen on FOX.
