Denver Broncos Injury Update: Ronnie Hillman 'Tweaks' Hamstring In Practice

Stay connected for news and updates

The Denver Broncos have had a rough week at team practice. On Tuesday, the Broncos found out that right guard Chris Kuper will miss six weeks due to a broken forearm, but that wasn't the only injury incurred during the day's practice.

Lindsay H. Jones at the Denver Post reports that in addition to Kuper and defensive end Jason Hunter -- who suffered a triceps injury -- first-year running back Ronnie Hillman had some hamstring issues. According to Denver head coach John Fox, Hillman "tweaked" his hamstring on Tuesday. This is the same hamstring that has caused Hillman to miss practices and kept him out of last week's preseason opener.

The Broncos and their fans are definitely hoping these hamstring issues don't continue, or blossom into something more serious before the 2012 season begins.
