Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil only wants to talk about football as the team readies for the start of training camp, but he realizes there's plenty of interest in his recent arrest. Dumervil was involved in an incident in Miami on July 14 that reportedly involved the defensive end and a friend each flashing a firearm in what's being deemed a road rage incident. Dumervil told reporters he's going to wait until the legal process resolves itself before opening up on the matter.
"I know you guys have a lot of questions," Dumervil said, "but out of respect for the investigation, there's not much I can say. Once the investigation is completed, the truth will come out and I'll answer whatever questions."
"I'm just happy to be back at training camp," Dumervil said. "Our team has done a tremendous job of preparing before the season starts."
