2012 NFL Minicamp: Broncos Try Out New Kicker While Matt Prater Holds Out

Stay connected for news and updates

As expected, kicker Matt Prater was not at Broncos minicamp on Tuesday as he holds out during contract talks. So, the Broncos brought in a new kicker.

Kunalic was signed and waived by the Carolina Panthers twice over the past year, which was his first in the NFL. He was a kickoff specialist for four years at Nebraska. He obviously won't be replacing Prater, but he has the big leg the Broncos like.
