Denver Broncos Sign 6th Round Draft Pick Linebacker Danny Trevathan

The Denver Broncos used their final pick in the 2012 NFL Draft on Kentucky linebacker Danny Trevathan. The pick was included as compensation in the trade that sent former quarterback Tim Tebow to the New York Jets. Trevathan is expected to compete on special teams and add depth to a Denver defense that looked destructive for stretches last season.

Trevathan measures 6-feet tall, 237 lbs. He led the Wildcats with 143 tackles last season.

Trevathan is the third player from the Broncos draft class to sign a contract. Second round selection Derek Wolfe, a defensive tackle out of Cincinnati and Denver's first pick in the 2012 draft, agreed to terms on Monday. The Broncos have also agreed to terms with Arizona St. CB Omar Bolden and Tennessee DE Malik Jackson, the team's fifth round pick.
