2012 NFL Draft Grades: Mel Kiper Gives Broncos 'C+' For Class

Stay connected for news and updates

In the all too premature world of grading a draft as it happens, 2012 NFL Draft grades are already out. ESPN's Mel Kiper has graded every team and given the Denver Broncos a 'C+' for the overall haul. Kiper is excited for defensive tackle Derek Wolfe's future in the NFL, believing he could have gone in the first round. The others all receive mixed reviews.

Kiper questions the utility of Brock Osweiler sitting around doing nothing (whatever that really means) for a year, but that has more to do with Osweiler leaving school early than the Broncos actually picking him. Kiper discusses running back Ronnie Hillman, cornerback Omar Bolden and offensive lineman Philip Blake with the verb "could." They could do this, but...

Kiper arrives at the 'C+' grade by giving the team a 'B-' for need but a 'C' for value.
