Barring any trades, the Denver Broncos have made their last selection in the 2012 NFL Draft, grabbing Kentucky Wildcats linebacker Danny Trevathan with the 18th pick (188th overall) of the sixth round. This was the second draft pick the Broncos acquired from the New York Jets as part of the Tim Tebow trade back in March. The Broncos sent its own sixth round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Joe Mays trade.
Trevathan, 6 feet and 237 pounds, led the Wildcats with 143 tackles in 2011. He is similar to former Wildcat and current Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard, who has become a leader on the special teams.
