2012 NFL Draft: Mel Kiper Jr. Sticks With DT Michael Brockers For Broncos

We're just about 24 hours away from the 2012 NFL Draft, and ESPN Insider Mel Kiper Jr. has released the fifth version of his mock draft. For the Denver Broncos, nothing changes as Kiper keeps LSU Tigers defensive tackle Michael Brockers as the choice for the team at No. 25 overall:

This is another pick I'm staying with since the previous mock. With LSU in 2011, so many guys made so many plays, you have to go back and look at where it started. In many instances, it was with the disruptive Brockers, who can create havoc from the inside, blowing up the run and penetrating against the pass. Denver needs to strengthen the inside to complement a solid group of pass-rushers.

We'll see if this turns out to be the case. Brockers has been rumored to be a top-15 pick, as well, but, hey, we all know what happens during the NFL Draft: craziness. The No. 26 overall selection, Stanford Cardinal tight end Coby Fleener, could be a possible pick for the Broncos.

Or the Broncos could trade the pick. Who knows?
