Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams and defensive tackle Ryan McBean were each suspended six games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Tight end Virgil Green was also suspended four games for violating the policy.

Two members of the Denver Broncos were each suspended six games, and another Bronco received a four-game suspension, for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy on Friday. Linebacker D.J. Williams and defensive tackle Ryan McBean will miss the first six games of the 2012 regular season if a lawsuit filed against the league proves unsuccessful.

With all the excitement currently surrounding Peyton Manning's visit to Denver this afternoon, the report is certainly sobering news for Broncos fans.

ESPN's Adam Schefter also reported that tight end Virgil Green will be suspended four games.
