Eric Decker Injury Update: Broncos WR Recovering Well From MCL Sprain

Stay connected for news and updates

The last time the Denver Broncos saw wide receiver Eric Decker take the football field, the second-year player was injured on a hit by Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison. It was later revealed to be a sprained MCL and not an ACL injury, which was the thought early on. Offseason reports have Decker in good shape for the upcoming season, and he should be able to take part in organized team activities when they start later this spring:

Decker is the No. 2 wide receiver right now, behind only Demaryius Thomas. Depending on how the Broncos draft, a rookie wide receiver could certainly compete with Decker for the second start spot. However, with Peyton Manning under center, the ball will certainly be moved to all of his targets.
