Stay connected for news and updates

The Denver Broncos are looking to re-sign one of its own free agents, Jason Hunter, on Friday afternoon, reports the Denver Post's Mike Klis. He has spent the last two seasons with the Broncos.

Hunter was thrust into replacing Elvis Dumervil early in the season when the starting defensive end went down with a shoulder injury. Returning to the defensive line in 2011, Hunter had 21 tackles and one sack in 16 games. When he played linebacker for the Broncos in 2010, Hunter had 61 tackles with three sacks and one interception.

He previously played three seasons with the Green Bay Packers and then one with the Detroit Lions before he joined the team at Mile High.
