Broncos Free Agency 2012: Joseph Addai Might Be Next Ex-Colt To Draw Denver's Interest

Stay connected for news and updates

The Denver Broncos seemingly have interest in every former Indianapolis Colts player who was a teammate of Peyton Manning's. While no visit is scheduled yet, running back Joseph Addai could have the Broncos' eye, according to the Denver Post's Jeff Legwold.

Addai had two good seasons when he first entered the league in 2006 and 2007, rushing for over 1,000 years each year. Since then his best season came in 2009 when he rushed for 828 yards and 10 touchdowns. He's also been used as a pass catcher, grabbing a career-high 51 balls in 2009.

He would serve as a backup for Willis McGahee, but would he be much of an upgrade over Lance Ball given his injury history?
