With Peyton Manning still a couple of days away from deciding his future team, there's little in the way of real news about which team he will wind up with to finish out his career. But on Saturday, the Tennessee Titans became the third, and we believe final, team to have a workout with the quarterback. Titans general manager Ruston Webster spoke about the event:
"This morning we traveled to Knoxville and had a workout with Peyton. I thought he looked comfortable throwing the ball and we had a good visit. This is another important step in the process."
If that sounds familiar, it's because it echoes some of the same things Denver Broncos executive John Elway said about his team's visit with Manning. "Process." This is probably the last of the Peyton Manning news we'll have until he signs. Or someone rumor-mongers to make "news."
