Peyton Manning Update: Contract Offers Revised, Based On $90 Million Deal From 2011

Stay connected for news and updates

The Denver Broncos, the Tennessee Titans or the San Francisco 49ers are going to wind up spending more money than originally thought on Peyton Manning if the Denver Post's Mike Klis is correct in what he now has as a revised contract figure:

Klis originally reported that the Broncos and other teams were working on a five-year, $60 million contract for Manning, but now indications are that teams will need to work on the mega-contract Manning signed with the Colts last year -- the one he signed last summer and then never took a snap after, the one that led to his release earlier in the month.

Are we looking at fool's gold here?
