TIm Tebow Trade To Jaguars Unlikely After Chad Henne Signing

Stay connected for news and updates

Tim Tebow's trade value likely took another hit following the Jacksonville Jaguars' signing of Chad Henne. ESPN's John Clayton says that it "kills" any chance of the two teams making a deal -- well, that is if Peyton Manning signs and the team does elect to move Tebow:

Sports Illustrated's Peter King already believes Tebow's trade value is no more than a fourth-round draft pick, just two years after he went No. 25 overall. The Jaguars' new owner is a big fan of Tebow's, but general manager Gene Smith doesn't want Tebow, making a trade unlikely even with this signing of Chad Henne.

But is a Tim Tebow trade inevitable? Tebow seems like he'd be the guy who'd say, "I'll do what you want me to. I can wait out my time, but I'll help this team in any way." Now, if a trade is the best way for that to happen, then that's it. But if all the team can get is a late-round draft pick, why not keep him?
