John Elway announced on Friday afternoon that the Denver Broncos named Mike Sullivan as Director of Football Administration. His duties will include:
With the Broncos, Sullivan will direct the club’s negotiating and structuring of all player contracts. He will be responsible for managing the Broncos’ football budget and salary cap as well as ensuring the club’s compliance with the league’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.
He'll be the salary cap guru who makes sure the Broncos are spending enough on its players without running into any sort of issues of being in danger of going over the cap.
Sullivan previously worked for Octagon Worldwide, a global network of sports representation and marketing firm.
