NFL Mock Draft 2012: Mel Kiper Projects Broncos To Select Devon Still With No. 25 Pick

Stay connected for news and updates

ESPN's Mel Kiper released the newest edition of his 2012 NFL Mock Draft on Wednesday, and he projects the Denver Broncos to select Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still with the No. 25 overall pick. The Broncos have numerous quality young pieces on that side of the ball, especially linebacker Von Miller, and Still could add to that group of talent.

Denver has the pass rush off the edge but could add some depth on the interior, and Still is a guy who can penetrate and get tackles for loss from the inside.

But Kiper also notes that this isn't an obvious pick, and the Broncos could go in numerous directions.

The Broncos could go a few ways here, which is actually a good thing as they pursue value, and I could certainly look for them to target a corner at this spot, but Still makes a lot of sense in that scheme. I have wide receiver down as a need, but they have a pretty good combo there right now, and given the struggles the offense could face, they need to be able to get stops.

Denver's current options at wide receiver are Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas and Eddie Royal, so they do have some talent to work with there.
