NFL Draft 2012: DT Jerel Worthy A Potential Denver Broncos Target

Stay connected for news and updates

Many mock NFL drafts believe that the Denver Broncos will address their defensive line in the first round, and the NFL Network's Chad Reuter is no different; he projects that Denver will select Michigan State defensive tackle Jerel Worthy.

Head coach John Fox did not address the defensive tackle position in the draft last year, and though he may again go with veterans or later picks at the position in 2012, the value available to him at this point of the first round may be too much to pass up.

Worthy finished the 2011 college football season with 3.5 sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss. Worthy had four sacks and eight tackles for loss in 2010.

Of course, Reuter has stayed with Worthy for at least a month now. Time for a change, no?
