Eric Decker Injury Update: Receiver's Knee Injury 'Significant,' According To John Fox

Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker suffered a knee injury on a rough hit by James Harrison in the first half of Denver's 29-23 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and he was unable to return to the game after the injury.

And based on this note from John Fox, Decker's short-term outlook does not sound good:

In his press conference, John Fox described Eric Decker's knee injury as "significant."

That likely means that Decker will have to sit out the team's game against New England next weekend, but Decker's outlook could change once he gets a more thorough examination.

Denver plays the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. MT on Jan. 14.
