For the first time since the 2005 season, the Denver Broncos (8-8) are in the postseason once again when they step onto the field to host the Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4). The Broncos are on its second coach since Mike Shanahan last led the team into the postseason. Josh McDaniels failed to finish out two seasons and was replaced by John Fox, who had reached the Super Bowl during his tenure with the Carolina Panthers. But, of course, the story about this game will be Tim Tebow.
There has been a ton of speculation on what will happen with Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn. It ranges Quinn receiving half the first-team reps to just a few more reps than normal to special packages to being ready in case Tebow is benched. Are the Broncos trying to play mind games with the Steelers, attempting to rattle them? Or are the Broncos legitimately game planning for a Tim Tebow failure early on? We'll find out soon enough.
