2012 NFL Playoffs: Denver Broncos Have Special Packages For Brady Quinn, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the Denver Broncos installed special packages this week for back up QB Brady Quinn that focus on second and third-and-long situations. There have been conflicting reports out of Denver regarding the amount of reps that Quinn has been taking in practice, and it's still unknown how often the Broncos plan on playing Quinn, if at all.

Quinn has yet to take a snap in a regular season game in his two season with the Broncos, and a playoff game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers would certainly be an interesting time to break that streak. But the Broncos have struggled in passing situations, and may be forced into desperation if the Steelers are able to stuff Denver's running game.
