2012 AFC Wild Card: Tim Tebow Has John Elway's 'Full Confidence' For Rebound

While rumors and speculation swirl that Tim Tebow could be on the outside looking in for the Denver Broncos starting quarterback position again in the 2012 season, team vice president John Elway believes his second-year quarterback will be able to bounce back from the tough games he had against the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs to end the regular season. As Woody Paige writes in the Denver Post:

"When you get into these playoff situations, he's a good enough athlete, you know what, to pull the trigger. [...] I have full confidence he'll bounce back and have a good week."

"Pull the trigger" appears to be the phrase to describe this playoff game for Tim Tebow. If Tebow is able to turn around his passing game and defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers, that would certainly qualify as "pulling the trigger." The Steelers have the No.1 passing defense in the league, allowing 172 yards per game.
