New Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio conducted a conference call with media members on Monday afternoon. Del Rio expressed his appreciation for the time he spent in Jacksonville, and also said that he is excited about getting started working with John Fox and the rest of the Denver staff.
Del Rio "thought a lot" about taking the year off ... "but I love to compete, I love being around ball. It's not about the money."

He also spoke a bit about his defensive philosophy.
Del Rio philosophy: "Attacking D, one that's going to get after QBs, make their life miserable and not let teams run down your throat."

Del Rio added that he has not yet begun to evaluate the players on the current Broncos roster, but that process would begin in the near future.
