NFL Power Rankings: Broncos Finish Regular Season At No. 16 In SB Nation's Set

The Denver Broncos dropped out of the top 15 of SB Nation's NFL power rankings.

The 2011 NFL regular season has come to a conclusion, and so the final NFL power rankings have come out. But do power rankings mean all that much now since there are only 12 teams left competing for the Lombardi Trophy? One of those teams happens to be the Denver Broncos, losers of three straight games. But SB Nation's final NFL power rankings don't have the Broncos in a happy place. They are the No. 16 team, for which Joel Thorman writes:

I have all four AFC West teams ranked right in a row here. Does anyone have any idea who the best team is out of this group? I'm not sure it's Denver with a one-dimensional offense.

That doesn't sound good at all with the No. 6 Pittsburgh Steelers coming to Denver on Sunday afternoon for a Wild Card round matchup with the Broncos, The Broncos are the lowest-ranked playoff team, given that they did finish 8-8.

As for that one-dimensional offense, well, Tim Tebow does need to overcome his struggles throwing the ball. However, the Steelers aren't the best team to attempt that on, especially in the playoffs.
