According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who was battling a serious ankle injury towards the end of the season, will participate in the 2012 NFL Pro Bowl, which will lock Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow out of the game.
More coming at PFT, but we're told Ben Roethlisberger (ankle) "definitely" is going to Hawaii for Pro Bowl, which will keep Tim Tebow out.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady, who will miss the game thanks to the Super Bowl, will be replaced by Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton, meaning that Tebow is the AFC's second alternate at QB. Assuming Roethlisberger does indeed go to Hawaii, he and Dalton will be joined by San Diego Chargers QB Phillip Rivers.
