2012 NFL Mock Draft: Chad Reuter Selects DT Jerel Worthy For Broncos

With most teams looking from the outside in at this point in the NFL season, the 2012 NFL Draft is slowly coming into focus as teams turn their attention towards it. One of those teams is now the Denver Broncos after they were defeated by the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Playoffs last week, and they have pick No. 25 in the first round of the upcoming draft.

Chad Reuter at NFL.com recently posted a mock draft of the upcoming first round on Monday, and he selects Michigan State defensive tackle Jerel Worthy for the Denver Broncos.

Head coach John Fox did not address the defensive tackle position in the draft last year, and though he might again go with veterans or later picks here in 2012, the value available to him at this point of the first round might be too much to pass up.

Worthy was a first-team All-American with Michigan State in 2011, leading the Spartans to a final record of 11-3 after beating then-No. 16 Georgia in the Outback Bowl. He finished the season with 30 tackles, including 10.5 tackles for loss, as well as 3.5 sacks.
