Broncos Vs. Patriots Inactives: New England Will Be Without Sebastian Vollmer

Stay connected for news and updates

Over the course of the season, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have learned to deal with injuries along the offensive line. Despite practicing this week, the Patriots will continue to miss the presence of Sebastian Vollmer, who will miss his sixth consecutive game according to the official Twitter account of the New England Patriots:

@Patriots: Tonight's inactives are Ryan Mallett, Nate Jones, Shane Vereen, Gary Guyton, Donald Thomas, Sebastian Vollmer & Ron Brace.

The Patriots will go with Nate Solder in the place of Vollmer. Solder was the first round pick for the Patriots after an outstanding career at Colorado. In his rookie season, Solder started 13 games and played at a high level. When these teams met in Denver on December 18, the Broncos were able to get some pressure on Brady, sacking the Patriots QB twice.
