Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil has been listed on the team's injury report with an ankle injury that has limited his ability to practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, but now Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting Dumervil could also be dealing with a knee injury. The Broncos need to generate pass rush to disrupt Tom Brady and New England Patriots offense, but if Dumervil is less than 100 percent the Pats may be able to send double-teams and chip blocks at Von Miller more often. Here is the tweet from Shefter casting doubt on Dumervil's health heading into the playoff matchup:
Situation to monitor tonight: some around league believe Denver DE Elvis Dumervil also nursing knee injury in addition to ankle issue.
