In a sign that wide receiver Eric Decker will not be playing in Sunday's game, the Denver Broncos announced on Tuesday that the team has signed wide receiver D'Andre Goodwin from the practice squad and placed fullback Spencer Larsen on injured reserve.

The Broncos need another wide receiver with the Decker injury since the team only had three receivers active for the remainder of the Steelers' game last Sunday. While Demaryius Thomas, Eddie Royal and Matthew Willis are a solid group, one more injury and the team would be in peril heading into the Patriots game.

Larsen sprained his MCL in the season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs. To fill in the practice squad spot that Goodwin's signing created, the Broncos added receiver Tim Toone.
