The Cincinnati Bengals have finally cracked the Denver Broncos defense, bringing the game to 17-15 in the fourth quarter. However, Eric Decker and Kyle Orton would strike again a little while later to put things at 24-15.
After Eric Decker had his 25-yard touchdown pass, the Bengals went on to add 12 unanswered points. Mike Nugent kicked two field goals and Andy Dalton found Andre Caldwell for a 10-yard touchdown pass. The Bengals went for the two-point conversion, but failed.
Oddly, the Broncos have been able to stop the Bengals all seven times the team has reached third down, but, as evident, that doesn't always tell the story of how a team is playing. Kyle Orton's fumbled at his own 13-yard line and helped set up the Bengals' field goal.
Orton made up for it on the next drive with a 52-yard strike to Decker for his second touchdown of the day. The Broncos lead, 24-15, early in the fourth quarter.
Broncos' No. 2 overall draft pick Von Miller did leave the game in the third quarter, but he just needed his contact lens fixed.
