The Denver Broncos officially declared Champ Bailey, Elvis Dumervil, Brandon Lloyd and Knowshon Moreno as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. With the exception of Brandon Lloyd on Friday, none of the other three has practiced this week. Bailey and Moreno injured their hamstrings on Monday while Elvis Dumervil aggravated his shoulder in practice and attempted to play throughout it. He was unable to do so.
It's basically a coin toss on whether these players will suit up, but there is at least hope that Lloyd will do so. Head coach John Fox did mention that he could let players who did not practice appear in an actual game, but that could do more harm than good, especially with star players Champ Bailey and Elvis Dumervil.
The Bengals received good news by declaring rookie quarterback Andy Dalton probable for the game. He left last Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns with a wrist injury, but he had a full practice on Friday, his first this week.
