John Fox Ignores Question About Replacing Kyle Orton With Tim Tebow

Stay connected for news and updates

Is it too early for a quarterback controversy in Denver? During the closing minutes of their 23-20 loss, Denver Broncos fans were caught on an ESPN camera shouting, "We want Tebow!" Orton's performance was less than desirable. Yes, he did throw for over 300 yards (big deal), but he threw a costly interception, setting up what would become Sebastian Janikowski's 63-yard field goal. And he magically had the ball drop out of his hands in the fourth quarter.

Did head coach John Fox give any thought to putting in Tim Tebow (or even Brady Quinn)? As Mark Kiszla in the Denver Post writes:

When asked if he considered making a change at quarterback, Fox ignored the question.

Fox isn't going to be able to avoid that question for much longer if Orton doesn't lead the Broncos to some wins soon. Let's see how he does against the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.
