Brett Favre's retired, right? We all hope so, despite July rumors that the Philadelphia Eagles were interested in him as a backup (and how wild would that have been had those rumors turned true and joined all those trades and signings the Eagles did make?).
↵Anyway, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano, who was sick after hearing "We want [Kyle] Orton chants!", offered some vague remarks about Brett Favre possibly quarterbacking the team this season (via the South Florida Sun-Sentinel):
↵↵↵"I can't rule anything out, OK? he said "SO, I mean, we don't rule anything out. I don't know how you want me to answer that. That'll be all over the news ... We always have our eyes open," Sparano said, "and are always exploring possibilities."

Now, Favre's agent Gus Bell is adamant that Favre is retired, but one can never be too sure. Still, I think the signing of Kevin O'Connell to a one-year deal pretty much ends any Favre speculation. No? No.
↵Chad Henne? Matt Moore? Tom Brandstater? Pat Devlin? Kevin O'Connell? Pray.
