Broncos Vs. Seahawks Final Score: Steven Hauschka Hits 51-Yard Field Goal To Deliver Denver 23-20 Victory

The Denver Broncos held off a fourth-quarter charge by the Seattle Seahawks to emerge with a 23-20 victory on Saturday evening. With two seconds left on the clock, head coach John Fox elected to send out Steven Hauschka to attempt the 51-yard field goal. He nailed it for the victory.

The highlight of the fourth quarter, possibly the game, came after Matt Prater kicked a 40-yard field goal. Doug Baldwin returned a kickoff for a 105-yard touchdown. That brought the game to 20-17 in favor of the Broncos. Seattle kicker Jeff Reed connected on a 53-yard field goal to tie the game.

Tim Tebow replaced Kyle Orton in the third quarter and finished the night 6-of-11 for 93 yards. Brady Quinn did not play in the game, but he should appear in the Thursday's contest against the Arizona Cardinals.

Rookie tight end Julius Thomas led all receivers with four receptions for 70 yards while Eddie Royal had 62 yards and Eric Decker finished with 45. Kyle Orton should have plenty of options to choose from during the regular season.

Before the 17-point fourth quarter by the Seahawks, the Broncos defense did a great job shutting the Seahawks defense down. The defense had five sacks, including two from Von Miller and one from Jeremy Jarmon. Elvis Dumervil and Wesley Woodyard accounted for the other two sacks.
