Denver Broncos head coach John Fox is certainly trying to upgrade the tight end position for his new team. First he signed a former Carolina player of his, Dante Rosario, on Sunday (pending a physical), and now he has added former St. Louis Rams tight end Daniel Fells, according to multiple reports.
Fells, according to these reports, is expected to be the team's starter. Dante Rosario could slot in as his backup while rookies Julius Thomas and Virgil Green come in behind them. However, Dan Gronkowski and Richard Quinn are also with the team, but neither really impressed all that much in 2010.
Fells caught 41 passes for 391 yards and two touchdowns. If he can add a bit more to his blocking game, Fells should pretty much have the starting job wrapped up.
