Nate Irving, Denver Broncos Agree On Contract

After a bit of a delay, third-round selection LB Nate Irving has agreed to terms with the Denver Broncos. John Elway announced the signing on Twitter. All nine of the Broncos' 2011 NFL Draft picks are now in camp and ready to practice.

Irving's contract was delayed a bit as they worked out the details of a third-round deal, a sort of no-man's land in terms of draft contracts now. Even with the rookie salary pool in place, the amount of guaranteed money was likely in issue.

These mostly quick signings of rookies will be a staple well into the future as there will be no prolonged holdouts. Teams may need to haggle over how much guaranteed money they will give out to the top picks, but don't look for players to holdout into the season any longer.

Here is a complete list of the Broncos' draft selections (signed players in italics):

Pick Player  Pos  School
1 Von Miller OLB  Texas A&M
45 Rahim Moore S  UCLA
46 Orlando Franklin T  Miami (FL)
67 Nate Irving ILB  N.C. State
108 Quinton Carter S  Oklahoma
129 Julius Thomas TE  Portland State
189 Mike Mohamed ILB  California
204 Virgil Green TE  Nevada
257 Jeremy Beal DE/LB  Oklahoma
