The Denver Broncos had closed the Minnesota Vikings' lead to just one point, 15-14, early in the third quarter. Then the Vikings had come up with another touchdown. Yet, the Broncos weren't going to let that go unanswered. Tim Tebow found Demaryius Thomas for a second time on a wacky play, making the game in favor of the Vikings, 22-21.
The Vikings scored a touchdown on a 52-yard pass to Percy Harvin, who pushed Chris Harris to the ground to make the reception before running up half the field. Quan Cosby returned the kickoff to the Vikings' 41-yard line. Tebow took the exchange and then faked a hand off to the running back. He then had to escape to his left out of the pocket. He made it all the way to the sideline before he made an awkward throw to a wide open Demaryius Thomas, who stayed with the play the entire time. Thomas made his way into the end zone for the score and the 22-21 score.
And here's video of Harvin's touchdown reception:
Maybe Harris slipped on the play, but just a bit. We can clearly see that Harvin did have a bit of push there.
