Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow was far from even a mediocre player in the first half of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, but he recovered from a poor first two quarters. He was just 3-of-13 for 45 yards when he headed to the locker after 30 minutes. He finished 21-of-40 for 236 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
He really wasn't helped by his receivers for most of the game, as he saw drops from pretty much all of his targets. Demaryius Thomas was the outstanding culprit since he missed an early touchdown for the Broncos. However, he did catch Tebow's only touchdown pass.
As expected, most of his performance came in the fourth quarter. He was also the team's leading rusher with 12 carries for 49 yards. He had a punishing 16-yard first down run early in the game.
