The Minnesota Vikings still have two more days to determine running back Adrian Peterson's status for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. Peterson didn't practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury he picked up against the Oakland Raiders on Nov. 20, but head coach Leslie Frazier is hopeful that his start running back is able to have limited participation on Thursday, reports Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN Twin Cities.
If Peterson is unable to practice on Thursday, it would seem unlikely that he would practice on Friday, either. At that point, the Vikings would need to declare Peterson out for the game. The Vikings are 2-9 this season and there is no reason for the team to bring him back before he is 100 percent ready.
