Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow responded to those comments Jake Plummer made recently about the young quarterback's fervent and public display of his Christianity. Plummer, recall, wants Tebow to calm down with the public pronouncements about his faith in Jesus Christ.
Tebow was on ESPN's First Take on Tuesday and was asked to respond to Plummer's remarks. Tebow said that he wasn't going to stop doing it because he believes his relationship with Jesus is the most important thing in his life. It's something he wants to do every single day and said:
So any time I get an opportunity to tell him that I love him or given an opportunity to shout him out on national TV, I'm gonna take that opportunity.
Just like so many other prominent public figures do. So, what's the big deal? I doubt Plummer has heard Tebow do it every single time, which means it can be that much of an inconvenience to his ears.
