The long arm of the NFL has descended on the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders. Rookie linebacker Von Miller was given a $15,000 fine for a hit on quarterback Carson Palmer in Sunday's game, reports Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post. Miller received a roughing the passer penalty after he hit Palmer with his helmet in the chest.
↵However, two Raiders players also received fines. Aaron Curry and former Bronco Jarvis Moss were fined a combined $35,000 for two hits on Tim Tebow. Crime doesn't pay, right? Curry and Moss lost not only money but also the game.
