Denver Broncos Injury Update: Elvis Dumervil, Marcus Thomas Questionable Against Detroit Lions

Stay connected for news and updates

The Denver Broncos have upgraded defensive end Elvis Dumervil (ankle) from doubtful to questionable. Bronco's head coach John Fox has declared Dumervil a game-time decision. Dumervil, who led the league with 17 sacks in 2009 and then missed all of 2010 with an injury, has only starter in four games for the Broncos this year.

It also appears defensive tackle Marcus Thomas may be able to play, as he is questionable going into Sunday's game. Thomas, who suffered a knee injury earlier this year, has only played in two of Denver's six games.

Earlier this week, we heard the Lions' quarterback Matthew Stafford was day-to-day and likely to be ready Sunday and that running back Jahvid Best was missing practice and running back Willis McGahee was out.
