Denver Broncos kicked Matt Prater wasn't having the best of days on Sunday. He missed two 40-plus yard field goals against the Miami Dolphins. Before the final five minutes of the game, the Broncos were one the verge of being shutout, but Tim Tebow took care of that with a couple of touchdown throws. Prater made the extra point, but he faced his biggest test in overtime: a 52-yard field goal. Video after the jump:
Unlike his other two attempts, Prater had this one go through the uprights. It hugged the top of the left goal post, but it stayed in between the upright just long enough to provide the winning score for the Broncos. It was a long struggle but the Broncos had the 18-15 victory.
But this was a dangerous win for the Broncos, and one they certainly won't want to pick up every week. No one's heart will survive it.
