The Denver Broncos conclude their season Sunday afternoon with a home game against the San Diego Chargers. It has been a long and winding season: Josh McDaniels was fired, Kenny McKinley committed suicide and Perrish Cox has been charged with possible sexual assault.
But Tim Tebow became the Broncos' starting quarterback after Kyle Orton suffered a decline in performance and injured ribs. Tebow's future is looking bright, and now he has a second chance to win a game against an AFC West opponent.
Prediction: Broncos 27, Chargers 24
The last time the Broncos won a game, they followed that up with a loss to the Chargers. That won't happen this weekend. A Steve Hauschka field goal will make the difference here. Expect Tim Tebow to put up solid numbers, while Correll Buckhalter figures to be the main attack on the ground again.
This will be a decent ending to a season that only got worse as it wore on.
