The Denver Broncos have declared four players out for this weekend's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Safety Brian Dawkins, cornerback Andre Goodman, safety Darcel McBath and receiver Demaryius Thomas will not play in this week's contest.
It was no secret that Dawkins, Goodman and Thomas would be out for Sunday's game as that's what the team was saying all week. McBath actually had a chance at taking the field this week as he had limited participation on Thursday, but he didn't practice on Friday.
Goodman has missed most of the season, playing in only four games so far. As a result, the Broncos have been forced to play rookies and young guys to make up for Goodman's absence. Perrish Cox will continue to be counted on to step his performance up with Goodman out. Cox will also handle kick returns with Thomas out. However, Eddie Royal could also take those returns.
