In what is quickly becoming a season to forget for the Broncos on the field, trouble off the field has found them now as well. Starting inside-linebacker D.J. Williams was arrested overnight for allegedly driving under the influence. Channel 7 in Denver broke the news this morning that Williams was pulled over at around 2:50 AM in his Hummer.↵
Broncos Head Coach Josh McDaniels was "aware of the situation and disappointed in Williams' actions". This is Williams' second arrest for DUI, the first coming in 2005. That likely means Williams will face a suspension from the NFL.
It's not known at this time the status of Williams' availability for the game on Sunday against the Chiefs.↵
